Thanksgiving learning

For Thanksgiving we had a fun day of learning about how Thanksgiving originated with the Pilgrims and Indians, made hats, sang songs, and even had our own Thanksgiving meal.

October

Since we are already halfway through the month I just want to say that I am excited for the rest of it!
In October we are focusing on shapes, and colors. Other ongoing goals are the Alphabet, letter sounds, name recognition, and and numbers. We are having a great time together and are trying to enjoy the outdoors 20-30 minutes a day, for as long as the weather will allow. Please bring your student prepared for an outdoor adventure every day! It is important that the children have the opportunity to get out together to play, in order to work on interpersonal skills. They learn SO much through play!
(Also, here are a few pics from some of our trips to the park!)

A reminder about our Halloween Party! On October 29th we will be dressing up, doing crafts, eating, and playing games! Preschool will be from
9:00-10:30 for the day! Can't wait to see those fun costumes! Thanks for all you do and for giving me the opportunity to teach your precious children. With love, Mrs. D!
